learn what your credit file says

posted by askmrcredit on (6 years, 9 months ago)

Consumers who want to review their credit files have the right to do so. They can check the Yellow Pages under Credit Bureaus or Credit Reporting Agencies. If several are listed, they can call to find which ones keep their file. Credit bureaus may charge $5 to $15 to give consumers information, although there is no charge if consumers call within 30 days of being denied credit based on the credit bureau's report.
