CREDIT REPORT: If i find a mistake on one credit bureau's report, will the mistake be corrected automatically at other credit bureaus ?
Just to make sure that the error has been corrected by all three major credit bureaus, you should follow up by getting copies of your report from the other two about six weeks after the first credit bureau corrects the mistake. If you see the same information reported inaccurately, go through the dispute process with each credit bureau. Information on disputes and corrections is supposed to be forwarded to the two other major credit bureaus and to the creditor who reported the information. However, the process is not fully reliable.ADDITIONAL CREDIT REPORT RELATED FACTS
