What's a credit report?A report of an individual's credit history prepared by a credit bureau and used by a lender in determining a loan applicant's creditworthiness. Credit reports are usually based on the individuals: credit history; who reviewed the credit history; information that has been given to the credit information company; specific identification information; and any explanatory notes and comments. |
